Farm Friends

It was Connor's first birthday last month...and he celebrated with a farm animal themed birthday. The cow smash cake was made to match the party invitations (and Connor's shirt) and the cake for everyone else matched the thank-you notes. Happy First Birthday Connor!

The large cake is a white sheet cake with buttercream icing. Sheet cakes start at $35. The cow cake is a small "smash" cake with white cake and buttercream icing. "Smash" cakes start at $10.

Turtle Power!

Reis celebrated his first birthday this month. He celebrated with a turtle smash cake while his friends enjoyed turtle cupcakes. Happy Birthday Reis!

Transformers are popular with the wee ones this year. This Transfomer mask was created for Evan's birthday and I hear it was a hit!

This baby shower cake was created for a coworker who's little ones decided to make an early appearance.

Dirt and Wurms!

What small friend wouldn't love to chow down on a cupcake that looks like it's straight from a dirt pile! Mmmmm....dirt! I made these cupcakes for my pal Ethan's last day at daycare before he started preschool.

The trains keep a comin'

It's not just Thomas and Friends that are popular with the kiddos...trains in general are loved by all. This multi-color choo choo was created for a little boy's 4th birthday.

First Birthday "Smash" Cakes

These first birthday cakes were intended for smashing! Smaller cakes for one year olds to destroy on their birthday. These "ones" were made for a set of twins (boy and girl) celebrating their first year!

Percy, Percy, Percy!

Percy of "Thomas the Train" fame for Brooks's 3rd birthday. Although the birthday boy thought the flavor was key lime (thanks to the green frosting) it really was just a marble cake with buttercream frosting.

Monkey Cupcakes

Cupcakes continue to be a popular choice in lieu of a bigger birthday cake for birthday parties (for kids and adults!). I made these monkeys to be served at a party for a 3 year old.

Cupcakes start at $12 per dozen and are made by the 1/2 dozen or dozen.

Bite Size Treats

Great additions to any party or open house...bite size treats that don't require plates or forks. Pictured are "mini" scotcharoos, lemon graham bars, brownie cups with white chocolate cream cheese filling and banana cakes with cream cheese frosting.

R2D2

This was created for my friend Ashlee's son's third birthday. R2 is a 2 layer white cake with raspberrry filling and buttercream frosting. I was thrilled at how he turned out!

Groom's Cake

I created this cake for my friends Julie and Chris. They both love to ride their mountain bikes so I did a take on trail riding for them in chocolate. This is a 2 tier chocolate cake with oreo filling and hotfudge buttercream. Bikes are edible and made of chocolate...and so are the rocks!

Frosty Cold Beer

I got an order for a "fun" cake for a guy. Well what gent wouldn't appreciate a nice cold mug of beer or at least marble cake with buttercream frosting made to look like a frothy mug o' beer!

Star Wars

Apparently the "new" Star Wars cartoons are all the rage with the kiddos today. Here is a "Captain Rex" cake I created for my friend Nate's 5th birthday. According to his mom, Nate smiled about the cake for days!

Wedding showers or baby showers, you gotta have cake! This is a "onesie" cake created for a friend of mine. The mommy-to-be did not know if she was having a boy or a girl. This is a two-layer white cake with raspberry filling and buttercream frosting.
